Compare
Own one app, or rent six?
Here is how SmallBizSuite stacks up against the tools most owners piece together, including the math over three years and the things we don't do yet.
How it compares
The whole story in fifteen seconds
SmallBiz Suite sits in the middle: more than a link page or a card, simpler than a full software stack.
| Capability | Link-in-Bio | Digital Card | Website | SmallBiz Suite |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Digital identity | ||||
| Contact sharing | ||||
| Team cards | Limited | Possible | ||
| Commerce | Limited | Limited | ||

Comparison reflects typical capabilities of each product category. SmallBiz Suite is designed to complement — not replace — enterprise-grade tools where you truly need them.
Rent vs. own
Cost certainty beats a meter that never stops.
The rented SaaS trap
Here’s the quiet math of the rented stack: a site builder, a link-in-bio tool, a CRM, an email platform, bookkeeping, a digital card. Each one is “only” a small monthly fee — until you add them up and realize you’re paying every month, forever, just to keep the lights on. You don’t own any of it. Stop paying, and it all switches off. Raise your prices, and their prices raise right back. That’s not a toolkit — it’s a subscription treadmill.
Cost certainty & asset ownership
SmallBiz Suite runs the other way. You make one investment and the hub is yours — the infrastructure, the data, the connections you build inside it. No monthly software meter counting against you. No vendor holding your client list. Just cost certainty: you know exactly what you paid, and you know it’s still working for you next year and the year after. Own the hub once. Keep building on top of it for good.
And if you ever want ongoing strategy, coaching, and support after launch, that’s an optional membership — never a toll you have to pay to keep your own tools running.
What would this cost without us?
The same app you see here — digital business card, team cards, CRM pipeline, e-commerce, AI tools, QR lead capture — typically requires 300–600+ hours of custom development. Here's what that looks like:
Freelancer
$36,000 – $64,000
+ $6k–$15k/yr maintenance
Agency
$76,000 – $142,000
+ $10k–$25k/yr maintenance
SmallBiz App Suite
$297 – $2,500
one-time + $20/mo hosting (Executive adds $297/mo support)
You're not just saving tens of thousands of dollars — you're saving months of back-and-forth with developers who don't know your business. With SmallBiz App Suite, Don builds it for you, hands it over, and you own it forever.
Want ongoing coaching & strategy after your app is live? Optional memberships start at just $29/mo.
Or the stack you're renting every month
Most small operators don't hire a developer — they duct-tape together a pile of monthly subscriptions. Here's a typical stack that covers what SmallBiz App Suite does in one app you own.
